Hollywood, California (August 22nd, 2017) — Gaming and Screen Legend Bubsy The Bobcat announced the release date for his upcoming biopic- err, game, Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back which is slated to debut October 31st, 2017 on PlayStation 4, Steam and GoG. In addition, in a surprise announcement, Bubsy also said a deluxe and extremely limited boxed version of the game for PS4 will be available on Amazon, BestBuy, GameStop and other select e-commerce sites.
When asked how many of the limited edition versions would be available Bubsy hesitated and then said, “Well, I’ve made 14 so far – so do the math!” The limited edition version (MSRP $39.99) will feature a separate soundtrack CD, Mystery Bubsy Movie Poster postcard, and Busby’s official business card (he’s so 90s).
The PSN Digital Download and PC Digital Download version of Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back will also be available on day one of release (MSRP $29.99).
Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back will also mark the return of the Accolade game brand. Accolade is well known to retro gamers everywhere for a series of arcade, action and sports classics from the mid 80’s to the 2000s. The game was loving created by German developer Black Forest, the same team that created the wildly popular Gianna’s Sisters franchise. Black Forest put Bubsy through intensive language training which resulted in a separate German language version incorporated into the game. Bubsy thought the whole experience was “Ausgezeichnet.”
